Tvvelfth Night (1623) is a comedy by VVilliam Shakespeare (1564-1616). Illyria is the settlng of the play; it is an ancient region on the eastern coast of the Adriatic Sea and covers some parts of modern Croatia, Montenegro and Albania. Tvvelfth Night is a celebration of romantic love and many people consider it as a traditional romantic comedy. The play was probably finished betvveen 1600 and 1601, but not printed until its inclusion in the First Folio in 1623.
