superlative cümleleri

Bir öbek içerisinden en üstününü belirlemeye de superlative diyoruz. Burada da isimlerin önüne "the most", sıfatlarda ise ya yine başına "the most" ya da sonuna "-est" takısı getiriyoruz. Örneğin :

"beautiful" --> "the most beautiful",
"experienced" --> "the most experienced",
"great" --> "the greatest",
"small" --> "the smallest " olur.

Burada önemli bir nokta, bazı sıfatların değişiklik gösterdiğidir;

"good", "the best" olur;
"bad", "the worst" haline gelir.

İsimlerde ise

"money" --> "the most money",
"water" --> "the most water" durumuna gelirler.

That man is the fattest man I have ever seen. --> Şu adam şimdiye kadar gördüğüm en şişman adam.

This is the cheapest raincoat in the shop. --> Bu, dükkandaki en ucuz yağmurluk.

The red armchair is the most comfortable piece of furniture in the room. --> Kırmızı koltuk odadaki en rahat mobilya.

The story on newspaper is the most unbelievable one I've ever heard. --> Gazeteki hikaye şimdiye kadar duyduklarımın en inanılmaz olanı.

He had the most exact memory I have ever seen. --> O, şimdiye kadar gördüğüm en keskin hafızaya sahipti.

The old poor man has the hollowest cheeks I've ever seen. --> Fakir, yaşlı adam hayatımda gördüğüm en çökük yanaklara sahip.

The apricot tree is the gentlest tree in my garden. --> Kayısı ağacı bahçemdeki en narin ağaç.

In last year a day in August is the hottest day of the summer. --> Geçen yıl Ağustosta bir gün, yazın en sıcak günüydü.

İstanbul is the most expensive city in Turkey. --> İstanbul Türkiye'deki en pahalı şehir.

New York is the most popular city in the USA. --> New York Amerika'nın en popüler şehri.

Ayşe is her eldest niece. --> Ayşe en büyük yeğendir.

My sister is the most carefully reader of all her friends. --> Kız kardeşim arkadaşlarının içinde en dikkatli okuyan.

Ali writes most quickly of all the students. --> Ali bütün öğrenciler içinde en hızlı yazan.

A rabbit runs the fastest of all the animals in the forest. --> Tavşan ormandaki >ın en hızlı koşanı.

The youngest boy woke up the earliest in the family. --> En küçük çocuk ailede en erken uyandı.

Plane is the fastest vehicle. --> Uçak en hızlı araç.

This winter is the hottest winters of the last ten years.. --> Bu kış, son on yılın en sıcak kışı.

İstanbul is most expensive city in Turkey. --> İstanbul, Türkiye'nin en pahalı kenti.

Pelin is the strongest player at bridge in our club. --> Pelin bizim klübün briçte en iyi oyuncusu.

Our grandfather drinks the most tea in our family. --> Büyükbabam ailemizde en fazla çay içen.

My brother is the tallest person in our family. --> Erkek kardeşim ailemizdeki en uzun kişi.

This film is the most boring one, which I have ever seen. --> Bu film, şimdiye kadar gördüklerimin en sıkıcı olanı.

Dolphines are most clever organism, which live in water. --> Yunuslar, suda yaşayan en akıllı canlılar.

Ayşe is the fastest runner in our class. --> Ayşe, bizim sınıftaki en hızlı koşucu.

The new cook is the worst one, who worked in the factory up to now. --> Fabrikadaki yeni aşçı, bugüne kadar fabrikada çalışanların en kötüsü.
